So any tropes in movies, books or video games that make Sly or Sam Cry? while reading and or watching them and or playing them?
Oh hay, I had to think about this one for a little while! Sorry no drawings this time, been a bit crazy this weekend.
Sam’s definitely got a bit of a sentimental streak, so while he’ll get emotional about a lot of things (he’s a sucker for trashy romance) but if you really want to see him get wrecked over something, go for the atonement/redemption stories. (Either villains turned good or someone finally making good on past regrets.)
Sly… isn’t very emotive at all generally speaking so you probably won’t see him cry except in extreme circumstances (See here, particularly #3), but self-fulfillment stories with underdogs coming into their own/gaining acceptance hit home pretty hard for him!
