At what point in the Destiny timeline did this fireteam become a thing? When exactly did Killy get saddled with the kids?
OH MAN! I actually hadn’t thought about this much partially because oops, I didn’t actually play the first Destiny. (I had a big thing against fps games on consoles for a long time ehehehehe. Started it up after playing 2 for a while, but haven’t gotten far.)
So I’d say Killy revived towards the end of the Taken King era, with Echo and Gideon reviving in the months after the Red Legion attacks. They were short on veterans after losing so many guardians, and as mentioned before, Killy wasn’t exactly good at being responsible but you gotta use what you’ve got and maybe kill two birds with one stone and all, yeah? XD
