Oops! I mean aboutTerranova

OH! Now that makesd a lot more sense, LOL.

Original question again: “Can you tell more about Nora? Does she get along with children? What was her childhood like?”

Nova is the original creation of an old friend of mine. She’s actually a child assassin, raised that way by her less-than-stable mother. Back then, I didn’t really have any plans for Quay to have any kids, and with him being such a villain we both thought it hilarious and fitting that he’d wind up with a daughter that’s pretty intent on killing him. XD

Quay and her mother’s marriage was pretty terrible, largely due to him being an asshole and a horrible husband- he didn’t care at all about her and mostly did it because it that’s what people do and she was insistent. She snapped after the divorce and fled, and never told him she was pregnant. In her obsessiveness following, she trained Nova to be an assassin as a way to exact revenge on him, all without telling her the man who’d mistreated her so badly was her father.

She’s about 10-12 in the Schism universe, both of them only figuring it out their relation to each other after her mother died and Nova deciding now was the time to finish their plan. They’re on a shaky truce/cease fire right now.

SO with that information, yeah. Nova barely had any real childhood at all. She loves guns, knives and explosives, and for the most part finds kids her age irritating and a waste of her time. She’s very independent, which is good because while Quay is actually making some effort to be a father, he’s still an asshole and it’s still on his terms and not at all good parenting for the most part. XD;

Oh lord, that got long, sorry!
